What are badges?

Badges are tokens that can be awarded to your readers for completing specific interactive tasks, for example, a quiz.

They can also be used to restrict access to a publication. This means a reader can be prevented from viewing a publication unless they have been awarded the badge in another publication. Find out how to secure a publication by badge here.

Badges can be set to expire after a certain period or on a specific date/time. This is helpful if access granted by the badge is time sensitive or the reader will need to be re-assessed for access after a certain period.
